Here is the 4th of 14 videos we will be releasing every Friday at noon EST leading up to the album release in Oct. This is Blood Burning Moon, somewhat inspired by the Jean Toomer short story by the same name, from his novel Cane (1923). Like the book, the song is composed of several freestanding vignettes. This was the first song Dion wrote after his departure from Hot Day at the Zoo back in 2013, and the third verse of the song is, in fact, a reflection on that departure.
